This is a great mix of older European pieces that would suit a collector, textile artist, or display. The highlights of the lot are the two large fabric shears, which are clearly stamped E. Bergfeld & Sohn (Solingen, Germany) under their "Globusmann" globe trademark, dating them around the 1920s to 1950s. The 8-piece lot includes: 2× Large E. Bergfeld & Sohn "Globusmann" Shears (detailed ornate handles) 1× Vintage Mechanical Travel Folding Scissors (folds down flat) 1× Tailor's Specialized Buttonhole Scissors (with the stepped adjustment bars) 1× Classic Stork Embroidery Scissors (detailed feather design) 3× Small Decorative Needlework & Lace Scissors (various geometric and ornate styles) Condition: All pieces are intact and move smoothly with clean, unchipped tips. The handles have a nice, natural gold-toned aged patina. The steel blades show some light surface rust and cosmetic oxidation consistent with age, but there is no deep pitting.
