The Gerber Strongarm is a robust fixed knife that is made in the United States. This knife is designed for people who definitely need to be able to rely on their knife. Whether you are going out into the jungle, the desert or the woods: the Strongarm will be there to help you out.

The blade made from 420 HC steel is wonderfully solid while, at the same time, not too big to carry out the simpler tasks around the camp. The matte black, ceramic coating prevents reflections and rust. The tang of the blade extends to the end of the handle. Here the steel slightly sticks out enabling you to use it to break something. Think, for instance, of collecting clams stuck to a rock in the water, a task you definitely don’t want to use your knife for.

The handle itself is made from FRN: glass reinforced nylon. Light-weight and very strong. For additional grip Gerber has added an extra rubber overmould around this core. An additional layer with a diamond pattern.

Striking about a knife in this price range is the very luxurious sheath that comes with the Strongarm. Whether you carry it around left-handed, right-handed, vertically or horizontally on your belt or attached to a MOLLE-vest: the Strongarm will feel at home wherever you put it.
