Lambda or Oxygen Sensors detect the amount of oxygen present in your exhaust gases. The engine management (ECU) uses this information to adjust the fuel delivery for optimum performance and efficiency. Oxygen sensors typically last between 50,000 and 100,000km depending on type and service life.
