4Terrain Clutch Kits are a strong, durable and tough clutch while still retaining the fine modulation and accurate pedal feel required for navigating difficult terrain. Features engineered specifically for 4x4 applications include:

High Capacity Cover Assembly – Higher Torque capacity is achieved by the use of components designed to provide the strength, thermal properties and durability required to increase torque capacity and reduce slipping over a wider temperature range.
Spheroidal Graphite Pressure Plate Casting - Sometimes referred to as Anti Burst, dartel or nodular iron, this material provides approximately four times the burst strength of a standard cover assembly pressure plate. This increased strength not only extends the life of the casting but combined with its improved heat dissipation, allows the clutch to run cooler in extreme situations.
 

Off Road Clutch Plate – Engineered specifically for the unique environment this design includes features unavailable elsewhere.

  • Two stage friction material
  • Optimised point load characteristics
  • Premium Grade Friction Material
  • High Capacity Clutch Plate Hub

Clutch Range

RPM Clutch Upgrade

 
RPM Clutch systems are a stronger more capable clutch, upgraded from standard specifications and engineered to enhance your vehicles performance. Refined and developed over 20 years there is no other brand in the Australian aftermarket which has more performance heritage than the RPM Performance clutch range. We offer RPM Kits for more than 3,500 applications (and we’re expanding the range).

The following types of vehicles can tend to subject a standard clutch to loads which may exceed the original design capacity of the clutch system:
  • Heavy duty application such as towing;
  • Vehicles with engines modified  
  • Driving enthusiasts
  • Off Road Vehicles
  • Trade or Delivery Vehicles


Available in up to four (4)  configurations, each RPM Kit has a minimum 20% increase in torque capacity and in many application more than this subject to design specifications. The additional  torque capacity reduces "slip" and increasing the power delivery capability of the system over a wider horsepower range.

 

RPM HIGH CAPACITY CLUTCH KITS


The inclusion of a high capacity cover assembly within the RPM kit increases the torque capacity of a clutch system.

Our engineering department redesigns the cover assembly to provide increased torque capacity while maintaining driveability. The additional strength is achieved by the use of components designed to provide the strength, thermal properties and durability required to increase torque capacity and reduce slipping over a wider temperature range.
Refinements include upgraded diaphragm, improved geometry and a Non Hexaralent Zinc Chromote finish.

 

LEVEL 3: SSC CLUTCH PLATE OPTION


A sprung centre type clutch plate with cerametallic buttons rivetted to the disc.
This type of plate typically has less inertia than a standard plate and this can translate
into a faster shift with a reduced shift effort.

This type of plate retains a sprung centre to dampen the impact and loads that reach the drive train. This type of plate can be harsh during operation and it is not suitable for being purposely slipped. The Ceramic buttons increase the torque capacity of the clutch without requiring an increase in clutch size.
