Review : We moved to our new home and purchased a new bed and mattress. The mattress was so heavy, I couldn't lift it to make the bed properly. I dreaded changing the sheets. Bedezy has changed my world. I love changing the sheets now, and my back says "thank you Bedezy" every time I do. Review : Hi John, I have been super busy and my Bedezy arrived nearly 2 weeks ago. But as I write I have just fitted and used it for the first time. Wow! As a fit and healthy young 50 year old man I could not believe how good it is and I have promised myself that I will now change the sheets more than once a month, such is the ease with which I can now do it. As an owner of a slat bed it was such a joy that having put on my fitted wool underlay and my fitted sheet and made hospital corners on my top flat sheet that I do not have bloodied knuckles from trying to lift my very heavy new mattress out of the frame. Whilst you did not want to sell your business to me just yet, I will be out there selling your great product to family and friends. It is just fantastic.

Hi how big is the air pump/motor - wondering whether it will fit comfortably under bed.

Hi Hana The pump is very compact, and will fit under 90% of slat beds. The height is only 110mm and is 160mm wide x 190mm long. The hose is flexible and will allow it to be conveniently located at the head end of your bed. Slat beds are pump under and ensemble type beds usually fit perfectly beside the bed in a space between the base and the bedside tables. either way, it is very un-obtrusive. My mattress weights 70-75kgs. Will this lift work for this weight of mattress? Thanks.

Hi Greg The BEDEZY was designed and laboratory tested to operate with mattresses up to 147kgs weight. In extreme destructive tests, it was tested to weights of 6 times that weight, so the answer to your question is absolutely yes it will do the job for you. I would like to have your product shipped to an Australian post parcel Locker, but they have a size limit, can you advise if shipping to a Parcel Locker is ok or provide the packaging size please.

Hi, I have shipped the BEDEZY to parcel lockers on many occasions, and never had a problem with that. The dimensions of the BEDEZY box is as follows. 45cm. long (1'53/4") X 17cm wide (6 1/2 ") X 31cm high (1' 1/2"). The lockers I have sent them to have been mostly in Victoria, but I would imagine it would be the same everywhere. I will enquire at Australia Post so I will be better informed when asked again. Can you please advise what is the maximum weight of mattress that Bedezy will lift ?

Hi Laura The BEDEZY lifter can lift in excess of 160Kgs of mattress. The certification laboratory rated it for 147Kgs, using the logic that it will cover 98%+ of all available mattresses at that weight. While testing to destruction, I personally saw a lift of 890Kgs of engineers and technicians from our factory on top of an extremely heavy mattress, and it lifted it. Reliability is always the goal, and I do suggest that while I am very sure it will comfortably operate without any adverse outcome, up to 170Kgs would be a safe upper limit. I have a queen ensemble so no room under bed. Can you tell me the pump dimensions and the hose length. Thank you.

Hi Rene, Thanks for getting in touch; the hose length is 1040 mm long and the Pump unit is 220 mm long X 170 mm Wide X 110 mm High. The top corners of the pump are also rounded slightly so as not to damage surrounding furnishings. There are also 2 entry points for the hose - Center and on the Right Hand side to allow for pump placement behind a bedside table but not under the bed itself. Does it look messy when installed?

Once Bedezy is installed the only thing you should see is the controller. The Bedezy pump is designed to be placed under your bed at the bed head end.

Will my mattress be too heavy - it's a memory foam queen size

Bedezy will lift your mattress up about 20cm higher to help you change your bedding.

How high will it lift the mattress?

Depending on the weight of the Mattress from 200mm to 300mm higher than where your Mattress is on the bed.
