Part # AS0089 - AussieSpeed Chrysler Valiant Hemi Hurricane long runner 4 barrel manifold 245 265. We still show some pics of the older AS0089 Equal length long runner hemi 4 Barrel manifold that was a copy of  the original Chrysler Valiant intake that came out on the Valiant Charger 6 cylinder engines in the mid 1970's, that has not been available for years. This is the long manifold which puts the carb right out near the spring tower. 

AussieSpeed has spent much time on the flow bench making sure these manfolds work right out of the box and the problem with the older long runner manifold was deficiencies in the plenum size and even cylinder filling from the runner length and shape.  We had a situation where our shorty Hemi manifold out performed the hurricane long runner, both the original OEM unit and our hurricane copy, so it was enevitable things had to change.  Valiant Hemi entusiasts will recognise the older unit in the pics, we dont make this style any more as there is no point, so it is the newer shaped intake manifold that will be supplied now, that is the one with some text marker writing on it in the pics shown above.  This newer design manifold can have significant gains in the top end depending on other engine set up to take advantage of it.
