Description: 

This HVAC unit comes with an electonic ballast (Advance Purevolt Electronic Ballasts -Featuring Intellivolt / EOL Protection) and an indicator LED. The bulbs are germicidal UVC and they are 99% efficient on a single pass. All units have an on-off switch with built in circuit breaker. This Atlas ATLS-STUV72 covers up to 3000 sqft.
The HVAC ATLS-STUV72 Model air purifiers are more effective than any other type of air filter at capturing and eliminating microorganisms such as virus, bacteria, algae, mold and yeast in the air. It has a UVC Germicidal lamps are scientifically proven to kill 99.9% of  airborne germs. This latest model of air purifier is a total home purifier, air sanitizers that utilizes dual 254nm lamps which are easily placed in the intake side of your existing heating/cooling system or directly above the AC coil.

Installation:
 
PLEAE NOTE: PROFFESIONAL INSTALLER IS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLING THIS DEVICE  
CAUTION: BE SURE TO WEAR APPROPRIATE PROTECTION AS CUTTING METAL IS LOUD AND PIECESMAY BE SHARP AND HOT (I.E. HAND, EAR, EYE, AND FACEPROTECTION)
  1. Disconnect power to the HVAC system before installing the unit.
  2. Need to create a template and tape it to the duct work in the intended installation position.
  3. Drill pilot holes as required with a 3/32” drill bit.
  4. Cut out the appropriate hole on the HVAC pannel.
  5. Remove any burrs and be sure duct surface is flat after cutting the hole(s).
  6. Install the bulb(s) in the unit by sliding the bulb in from the outside until the bulb snaps into place. Insert the unit into the metal duct cut out. If you touch the bulb with your hands, use a cloth to wipe any fingerprints from the bulb(s).
  7. Attach the unit to duct work with the supplied 4 sheet metal screws using a ¼” nut driver. Make sure to tighten screws evenly. The unit has a factory installed gasket that ensures a tight seal between the unit and the duct work. Be sure the unit is flat against the duct work on all sides. CAUTION: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN SCREWS.
  8. Plug the unit into a grounded 120 volt power outlet.
  9. Turn unit on and verify that the LED indicator light(s) located near the on/off switch is/are illuminated.
  10. The switch is in the on position when the solid line on the switch is pressed down.
  11. Reconnect the power to the HVAC system
  12. The unit is now operational and does not need to be powered off unless cleaning or bulb replacement is necessary
 
Note: NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT OR TOUCH A UV BULB WHILE ILLUMINATED.
